Brooke & Shoals Candle Review and Giveaway

There is nothing nicer than coming home from a long busy day and lighting a beautiful scented candle. It’s an instant mood booster and you are transported to another place in time. I find some of the more well known branded candles to be expensive so I was delighted when I found these gorgeous affordable Irish Candles locally.

Brooke & Shoals is an Irish company based in Greystones Co Wicklow, founded by Alison Banton. Alison’s love of fragrance was inspired by her childhood when she would pick flower petals in her great auntie Mollie’s circular rose garden. Mollie used to say that ‘the babbling brook and the whispering shoals’ and so Brooke and Shoals was born.

There are three main collections. The Floral collection combines classic floral scents like lavender, jasmine, white lily and rose.

The Citrus and Woods collection consists of a unique blend of sweet fragrances such as lemon verbena, grapefruit and fig with the grounding wood fragrances such as vetiver.

Then last but not least is the Seasonal collection. The Cinnamon and Cedar candle is divine and a perfect candle for the Christmas Season.

-They are hand poured in Ireland

-They are made with natural soy wax that give them a clean toxin free burn and they are kind to the environment

-They are scented to a high level with of fragrance oils and essential oils giving them a gorgeous smell that lasts long.
